On Sunday the 15th January I had the pleasure of performing a beat set at Workinonit, a monthly event at Manchester's Hip-Hop Chip Shop organised by Matt Kuartz and Lone Apostrophe. It's genuinely a one-of-a-kind gathering and a beautiful thing to just witness, let alone be able to contribute in some small part to.
This was my performance, composed entirely of original and unreleased beats - some of which will appear on my album that is set to drop later this year - mixed live using an iPad running AUM and Koala Sampler, and an Akai MIDImix controller. Shouts to Genuine Soundware's Varispeed which does the heavy lifting in the delay department.
If you want to see a breakdown of how it all came together, take a look on my YouTube channel (which can be found in the links section on the right hand side of this page).
Huge love to Jonatan, Marek and Guido for creating AUM, Koala Sampler and Varispeed respectively.

Good old instrumental hiphop. It's aged a bit in the sounds, but remains excellent. It aged well and remains very pleasent to listen to. Thibaut Devigne
